Presentation Guru Is Looking For An Intern

Presentation Guru is looking for an intern to assist with their current work load.  This position is perfect for an aspiring graphic artist / web developer who looking to take their skills to the next plateau.  Below please find the list of responsibilities and qualifications for this position: 

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with resizing and resample of photos for print-ready documents and web optimization
2. Handle edits to existing client graphic designs
3. Process content changes to new and existing client websites
4. Coordinate the updates of various social networks for company and clients including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace
5. Handle various administrative duties including the creation of letters, processing of online applications, maintenance of training documentation and other general duties

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of PhotoShop CS3+:  Color correcting, resampling and resizing, document slicing and graphic design
2. Knowledge of Illustrator CS3+:  Logo recreation, logo design and development, graphic design
3. Knowledge of Dreamweaver CS3+:  HTML and CSS pages maintenance
4. Knowledge Joomla 1.5/1.6 (Optional but a plus):  Installation and maintenance of templates, and updating of client website content
5. Knowledge of Word 2007/2003:  Template design, document processing
6. Knowledge of Excel 2007/2003:  Spreadsheet maintenance

Location:

1. Internship will primarily be telecommute based; however for training purposes and other admin duties intern be required to meet at designed locations in Jamaica Queens and Midtown Manhattan.  Intern will be reimbursed for traveling expenses and provided meals on these days.
2. When errands to local printers and other vendor locations are given, Intern will be provided traveling expenses and meals.

Compensation:

After six months, intern will received 25%-40% on completed client work.

    *Full and/or refresher training will be provided if necessary.
